Varda Rotem | Sculptures

All of Rotem’s portraits are drawn with great skill, a subtly self-derisive humorous note, in an economical style, not to mention positively miserly in detail. There is a special interest in examining Rotem’s transition from portraits painted in paper to portraits and giant masks sculpted of iron that appear later in her work.
